RU Debt Free? Free Financial Literacy Workshop Series

Can’t figure out how to keep up with all of your expenses? Overwhelmed by offers from banks and credit card companies?

There’s no doubt about it – tuition, budgeting and personal finances can be intimidating. The more you know and the sooner you know it, the better you’ll be able to prepare for your future.

Ryerson University Library is pleased to offer RU Debt Free, a free financial literacy workshop series open to all Ryerson students. [REGISTER NOW!]

What you will learn: About the program

Taught by trained student facilitators, workshops are offered during the Fall 2018 and Winter 2019 semesters. Over a five-week period, the one-hour sessions will cover the following subjects:

  • Budgeting
  • Banking and Saving
  • Credit basics
  • Paying for school
  • Life after school

Eligibility

All Ryerson students in the graduate, undergraduate and continuing education programs are eligible to participate.

Registration

To register, visit the course registration page and select either an afternoon or evening session in the fall or winter semesters. Register early as space is limited!
