Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Ryerson Library building is closed and physical access to our printers is unavailable. For further assistance with Library Resources and Services, we are online to support you.  Students | Instructors | Researchers.

There are six black and white networked laser printers located on the main floor in the Besse Information and Learning Commons on the main floor of the Library. To print from machines in the Library or Labs, you will need to have funds available on your student card. Funds can be loaded onto your card on the fill machines in the main lobby of the Library. For the location of other fill machines, check the OneCard Fill Machine map. Copy cards for the use of the printers are also available from the fill machines in the Library or from the Ryerson One-Card Office. Printing cost is $0.07 per page.

Funds can also be added to your OneCard using VISA, MasterCard or AmEX by visiting the OneCard office or calling them at 416-979-5000 x7565.

Print jobs may also be sent from the Library computers to printers in KHW71 and the lab in BUS511.

Printing from wireless devices (laptops, phones, tablets):  To print using your wireless device, you will need to log into the Ryerson University Campus Wireless Printing Service. CCS provides more information about this service on their Wireless Printing page.

Colour Printing

Colour printing is now available in the Library’s Information Commons. To print in colour, select LIB272 Colour Laser from the list of available printers. Colour prints cost 49 cents a page.

Colour printing is also available in the KHW71 lab in Kerr Hall and at the Print Centre in Jorgenson Hall JOR04.


Five scanners (EPSON V600 Photo) are now available in the Library. They are located next to the printers in the Information Commons. Documents can be scanned using the EPSON software which is loaded on all the PCs connected to the scanners.

Scanners are also available in the KHW71 lab in Kerr Hall. Details about the scanners are listed in the User’s Guide to Academic Computing in the Scanners section. Scanning is also available at CopyRITE in the Student Centre, 55 Gould Street, SSCB03.
