Returning Library Material

While our building is closed, Ryerson Library is pleased to offer in person Contactless Book Return to Ryerson community members with an active OneCard.

Most library material can be returned through the library book return slots. When the Library is open, return material through the 3 book returns slots to the right of the circulation desk. When the Library is closed, use the book return slots located to the right of the Library entrance.

Certain items (special loans, audiovisual items, reserve items, etc.) must be returned to the desk from which they were borrowed.

Materials returned by mail will be checked in on the day they arrive in the library. The library is not responsible for postal delays, which may make an item overdue.

Ryerson material mistakenly returned to other libraries risk overdue fines and penalties for late return.
