Librarians and Library staff are available to provide one-on-one assistance for research help. All appointments are conducted virtually through Zoom or Google Meets.
Who Can Use this Service?
Due to electronic resources licensing agreements the Book a Librarian service is for currently enrolled Ryerson students only. Faculty/instructors: please contact your Subject Liaison Librarian directly to arrange for a date and time to meet.
- Monday to Friday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Research help on Saturdays and Sundays is available through the Library’s Ask a Librarian real-time chat virtual research help service (no appointment necessary).
- Please allow at least 24 hours for a librarian to contact you after submitting your request.
More About Book a Librarian
In research help appointments, librarians and Library staff work with students to help them with their research. This can include working on search strategies, identifying appropriate resources, supporting students in developing research questions, database navigation, and any other topics related to research.
