Available through the OSH References combined search, NIOSHTIC is a bibliographic database which provides comprehensive international coverage of documents on occupational health and safety. It contains detailed summaries of over 212,000 articles, reports and publications, spanning over 100 years. NIOSHTIC sources include over 190 scientific and technical journals, NIOSH reports, NIOSH research bibliographies, abstracts from CIS Abstracts, and personal files from respected professionals on selected topics. NIOSHTIC is compiled by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
OSHLINE complements the coverage of NIOSHTIC, which was discontinued in mid-1998. Comprehensive coverage of journals and reports ensures that the most up-to-date sources are included. Seamless searching of both NIOSHTIC and OSHLINE is available. Enhancements have also been made to indexing and presentation of records to improve searching and consistency of the records.
