Virtual Library DME Appointments
The Library’s Digital Media Experience Lab is open for Virtual Tutorials. Book an online appointment with a student advisor. Advisor are trained to provide easy to understand and supportive help with tools such as, Adobe Premiere, After Effect Audition / Cakewalk, and more!
Laptop and Wifi Lending
The Library has laptops and mobile internet hotspots available (in limited supply) for remote lending for student use within Ontario. This is a service provided by the Ryerson Library to assist students who require access to technology in order to complete courses remotely during COVID-19. Users will need to complete and submit this online request form to access this program. Students who are experiencing hardship as a result of the pandemic will receive priority.
TRSM and Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science Laptop Lending
Laptop Lending for TRSM is restricted to undergraduate and graduate students, both full-time and part-time and who are currently enrolled in Ted Rogers School of Management programs only. TRSM users will need to complete and submit this TRSM Laptop Lending Request Form to access this program. Students who are experiencing hardship as a result of the pandemic will receive priority.
Laptop Lending for the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture is restricted to full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science programs only. FEAS users will need to complete and submit this Engineering and Architectural Science Laptop Lending Request Form to access this program. Students who are experiencing hardship as a result of the pandemic will receive priority.

Short term loans of our textbook collection are currently unavailable. Please check the Ryerson Campus Store for electronic textbooks.
The Ryerson Library provides customized online course readings for many courses. These are prepared based on instructor requests and are typically provided for access at the start of term.

The Ryerson Library subscribes to a wide array of electronic resources (articles, ebooks, data, video). To access these resources, you must be a Ryerson student (full or part time), staff or faculty member with an active my.ryerson account. These are available remotely 24/7.
Scan and Deliver Service, along with Print Pickup Service, is available to students, faculty and staff who require access to portions of printed works (chapters, articles, etc.) that fall within copyright permissible amounts can make a request through our Scan and Deliver Service. Requests can be placed through the Library’s online catalogue.
In person, Contactless Book Return is available, by appointment, 7 days per week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Appointments may be booked using Google Calendar Appointment Slots. For an invitation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Study Space Booking
June 11, 2021 notice: Limited study space bookings (including computer stations) will be available for students seeking special or alternate arrangements, and whose need is essential and critical to successfully meeting the mandatory requirements of their classes and their learning objectives. Students can book a study space with a computer at the Library, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Seating capacity is limited. Furniture layout will ensure physical distancing and meet health and safety requirements.
Note: the Province’s stay-at-home order requires individuals living in Toronto to limit trips outside of the home to essential reasons only, and requires limited contact with individuals outside of households.
Interlibrary Loans (RACER)
Access electronic multiple articles in databases, search journals, newspapers and magazines, or find specific articles .
Research guides can assist you with finding online articles and books applicable to your topic and courses.
The citation guide provides assistance properly citing all material in various citation styles like APA, plus a list of free citation management programs.
The Library hosts a number of virtual workshops each month. Learn about everything from finding credible resources, literature and systematic reviews to Adobe Lightroom and virtual board games.
