The Library is pleased to celebrate Open Access Week 2016, beginning Monday, October 24. Open Access Week is an annual global event and a key venue for the academic and research community to learn about the potential benefits of Open Access, share what they’ve learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in helping to make Open Access the new norm in scholarship and research.
This year’s theme is Open in Action: taking concrete steps to open up research and scholarship and encouraging others to do the same.
During Open Access Week, the Library will be hosting several events to further educate the Ryerson campus on the goals and benefits of open access, and how they can help contribute to the open access movement. All faculty, staff and students are welcome at these events, and please share widely with your colleagues.
