Not just for techies! All grad students and faculty are invited to drop in and learn about all the free resources available at the Library’s Digital Media Experience Lab (3rd floor, SLC) on Thursday, April 7 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The DME aims to provide all students with the tools they need to explore, create and innovate. It provides emerging media guidance and instruction, access to digital equipment and tools, and interdisciplinary support.
DME Grad Day activities include:
- Opening remarks at 11:30 a.m. by Yeates School of Graduate Studies Dean Jennifer Mactavish and Chief Librarian Madeleine Lefebvre
- Door prizes at 11:30 a.m. and raffles throughout the day
- Build with Littlebits and physical computing
- 3D Print Your Thesis
- Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality – experience VR and play a team co-op puzzle game using communication to solve a complex puzzle.
