Congratulations on making it to the end of the term! Now that the exam period is almost underway, a reminder that the Library and the Student Learning Centre (SLC) are open until 1 am, 7 days a week, until Friday, April 29. Both quiet and group study space are available for exam preparation – please visit the Library website and the SLC blog to learn more about the types of study space available on each floor. Additional study space has been opened up in the SLC during the exam period on the 5th floor – SLC514 and 515 will be unlocked and accessible to students for exam preparation.
When the Library and SLC close at 1am, after hours study space is available in the Podium (POD) building. Remember to be respectful and supportive of your fellow students while studying by following the rules regarding quiet and group study.
Students should also take this opportunity to clear all outstanding fines, and return overdue items to ensure access to grades and transcripts. Please check your library account on the Library website to see if you have overdue items, or fines greater than $10. If you are graduating this year, all fines must be paid prior to convocation. Fines can be paid at the Library’s Circulation Desk, either by cash, Interac (debit), VISA, MasterCard, American Express or the Ryerson OneCard. The Library also accepts payment from the above credit cards by phone, please call 416-979-5055, “Option 2″.
Please note that the Library/SLC hours will also begin to change as we transition to the Spring/Summer term. On Saturday, April 30th, the Library/SLC will be open from 8am – 10 pm, and we will be closed on Sunday, May 1. Spring/Summer hours will begin on Monday, May 2.
