The 21st century workplace demands educated professionals but the situations faced in the 21st century workplace demand educated professionals with ethical decision-making and acting abilities. As instructors and librarians, we can infuse ethical education into every classroom no matter the discipline or the subject matter being taught so that we graduate ethical professionals and citizens. In this workshop, author, lecturer and academic integrity director Dr. Tricia Bertram Gallant will guide participants through the process of seamlessly integrating integrity and ethics into any classroom. The goal is to create an ethical classroom, not just where cheating is the exception and integrity is the norm, but where students are learning and practicing the ethical decision-making and lifelong skills they’ll need as Ryerson graduates.
