Trial: Kanopy streaming video database

Ryerson Library has trial access to the Kanopy streaming video database for the month of July, 2014.

Kanopy is a streaming service that provides the platform to a host of educational video productions such as HBO, VideoFashion, Media Education Foundation, etc. The collection has over 20,000 video titles, covering a wide range of subjects. The current trial is a subset including sociology, business, hospitality, theatre , dance, literature, history and fashion.

The videos can be integrated with Blackboard courses, and accessed remotely. The majority of the videos are closed captioned and clip-making is allowed. PDA (Patron Driven Acquisition) is among the licensing options.
