Happy Holidays

The staff of the Ryerson Library would like to wish you a happy and relaxing holiday. The Library will be closed from 4:30 pm on Thursday December 20 until 8:30 am on Wednesday January 2, 2008. The Library website, catalogue and electronic resources will be available during the holidays except for a short scheduled outage when the e-resources will not be available. Email and chat reference services will also be closed during the holidays.

  1. Hi, I’m wondering for those students wishing to pay their fines in order to view their grades in time, what option is available since the library is out on holidays? Please reply ASAP! Thanks.

  2. Hi, I am also wondering how I can pay my fine since the library is closed for the holidays. I did not realize the library was going to be closed on Dec 21.

  3. My case is even funnier…I don’t know why I even owe them fines-.-…and I’m so sure that I won’t be able to check my grades…cos’ they’re having a long happy holiday…just chillin’…and ignore us…

  4. Hi everyone,

I regret that there is no way for students to pay library fines over the break. Even if there was some such mechanism in place, your grades would still not be available since the entire University was closed from December 21st to January 2nd (inclusive). The library’s system is separate from the Registrar’s, and withholds have to be manually removed by staff.

To the last poster: Please contact our circulation department at access@ryerson.ca or 416-979-5000 (option 2). Grades are withheld by the library for fines and/or overdue items.
