The Drag Queen That Time Forgot: A Well-heeled Comedy of Historic Proportions

Co-authored with Gordon MacKeracher.
[Toronto?]: The Dorothy Project, 1999.

Play Synopsis (from the introductory matter)

Drag Queen was born out of fascination with gay history. We never hear enough of it. And if we do, we rarely get the real story. The play attempts to weave the unembroidered facts of the Stonewall Riots and Judy Garland’s first funeral, with our own fictionalized storyteller, Gayle Warnings. But we would like to think that maybe, just maybe, a Gayle-esque drag queen was embroiled in those tumultuous events of June, 1969 in New York City.
