Undergraduate and Graduate Students

During registration week, all full and part-time students are issued a OneCard; this is your library card. For undergraduate students, loan periods depend on individual items, but generally books may be borrowed for 3 weeks, with 4 renewals. Only 2 reserve items and 3 periodicals/maps may be borrowed at the same time. For graduate students, loan periods depend on items borrowed; most books may be borrowed for 120 days, with 4 renewals. 4 reserve items and 6 periodicals/maps may be borrowed at the same time.

The Chang School of Continuing Education Students and Affiliates

Continuing Education, Distance Education and other Chang School students have two options for getting a Library card:

  • Get a free library card at the Circulation Desk in the Library by showing a paid fee statement or letter of acceptance; or
  • Get a free OneCard by applying online via the OneCard website.

Affiliated LIFE Institute members must produce a current LIFE membership card and one piece of photo ID at the Circulation Desk in order to obtain a library card for access to all physical library resources for one full year

Cards must be re-validated each term. Loan periods depend on individual items, but generally books may be borrowed for 3 weeks, with 4 renewals.
