Geospatial data housed in the GMDC Inventory or the Scholars GeoPortal collection are provided to the Toronto Metropolitan University Library (in part) through consortial agreements and are subject to Data Release Agreements limiting their use to academic, teaching and non-commercial research purposes. As a result, Toronto Metropolitan University Library strictly enforces licensing restrictions and appropriate use of these resources.
Requests for Data
The majority of our geospatial data resources are available via direct download through the GMDC Inventory or Scholars GeoPortal. Access to certain data resources requires TMU Community members to complete a Data Request Form. Use this form to request data that is not available for direct download, or for data resources not available on the GMDC website.
