America History and Life contains citations, with abstracts to social science and humanities literature on all aspects of U.S. and Canadian history, culture and current affairs from prehistoric times to the present. It covers books, dissertations, and articles from approximately 1,700 journals published worldwide from 1964. Since 1988, the database also provides reviews of films and video titles.
