DME Technology Lending Pilot

The Library’s Digital Media Experience (DME) Lab, located on the 3rd floor of the Student Learning Centre, has launched an exciting new pilot program that allows students to borrow equipment outside of the lab. The Library’s DME lab has an inventory of technology purposed for student use, which includes Arduino Microcontroller Kits, Camera tripods, GoPro Cameras, an Oculus Rift, a Myo Arm Band and Pico Projectors.  All Ryerson University Students, Faculty, Staff, and Continuing Education students with a valid library card are now able to borrow equipment from the DME Lab. Users must also be in good standing with the library, i.e. no outstanding fines or liabilities over $20.

If you would like to borrow any equipment, you may do so at the main circulation desk of the Library. First time users need to fill out an online agreement form before being allowed to borrow equipment. For more details, please view the policy on the Library website, or  contact the DME at dme@ryerson.ca or phone 416-979-5000 ext. 3524.
